I have always been proud to serve on the Town of Amherst Board, especially for my role as the Amherst Senior Center Liaison.  Our community is fortunate to have such a wonderful facility with such a committed staff.

There are over 40 member only clubs within the Center. Each Club is led by a fellow member. To join a club, you can either attend a meeting or call the Club Leader.

PROGRAMS

You are never too old (or too young) to take part in activities that can enrich your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The Center offers over 50 special events during any one month at the Center.

CLASSES

We have over 80 classes offered several times a year. Classes cover many topics: Academic Studies, The Arts, Cards, Dance, Home Arts, Music, Physical Fitness, Yoga, Technology, and many more. We even offer evening classes.

VOLUNTEER

Whether you wish to be of service as a way to meet new people, pursue a passion, or simply "give-back", we can help you find your volunteer niche. Members of the Center are invited to be part of an award-winning volunteer program.

SUPPORT SERVICES

Through our Support Services, we have the potential to make a real and positive change in the community. This is one of our key areas of focus here at Amherst Center for Senior Services, and a source of much success for our Non-Profit Organization. Get in touch with us today and see how you can lend a helping hand with this program.
