
Nutrition - Stay Fit Dining Program
The Amherst Center for Senior Services is a location for the Erie County Stay Fit Dining Program. Through this program, nutritious, warm, affordable meals are available to older adults 60+ in a welcoming community setting.

Eligibility & Cost:

Open to Erie County residents aged 60 or older

Suggested contribution: $3.50 per meal (Contributions are confidential)

Those under 60 are welcome at a REQUIRED COST of $5.50 per meal​​

Meal Times:
-
Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
-
Dinner is served on select Tuesday evenings at 5:00 PM

Reservations Are Required:
To ensure we can accommodate you, please call 716-636-3051 at least 24 hours in advance to reserve your meal. Members can register for lunch and dinner at myactivecenter.com.
Walk-ins are strongly discouraged, and meals cannot be guaranteed without a reservation.

Frozen Meal Program
The Town of Amherst Center for Senior Services is pleased to offer the 3-5-6-8-10 pack of a variety of frozen meals through the Frozen Meal Program. Milk and a dessert are included with each meal. ​
​
There is a suggested contribution of $3.50 per meal
(Examples: $10.50 for a 3-pack, $17.50 for a 5-pack, and $21.00 for a 6-pack, etc.). Though, any amount is appreciated and goes towards the program.​​
TO PARTICIPATE:
Complete the Program Registration Form & Waiver and Return them to the Center: This form is available at the Center, or contact our Nutrition Coordinator, Christin Estrada, and she will email one to you, or click the forms button below.​​
​
ORDERING & PICKUP: Frozen Meals are picked up at the Center on Fridays (a Friday holiday may impact the schedule).
​
TO ORDER: Complete the Weekly Frozen Meal Order form. They are available at the Center's reception desk, or contact our Nutrition Coordinator Christin Estrada and she can email one to you! ​

Your Frozen Meal order needs to be submitted to us 7 days before the pickup date to allow us time to prepare your order.​​
